Allen Sims was born in New York.  His mother was Chinese and his father is American. His parents divorced when he was 5.  He never gets to see his father who travels a lot for work.  At 7, Allen's mother died from heart disease and he was taken care by his mother's sister.  A year later, his aunt sent him to the temple to study the teaching of Buddha.

Allen likes to play soccer and the violin when he has time from his busy schedule working for a music magazine. He has a crush on Sarah since they were classmates at the temple. Allen would do anything for Sarah to be happy.
